A woman was killed by a rocket from Lebanon which hit the city of Safed in northern Israel on Wednesday, according to Israeli media reports, citing the Magen David Adom rescue service. Seven people were taken to hospital with injuries, said the rescue service chief, Eli Bin. Israeli media also reported power cuts in the town in the Galilee, home to some 40,000.
