Th Coronation Street star, who is best know for his role as Weatherfield cabbie Steve McDonald in the ITV soap, is said to be trying to pay off debts to HMRC by selling office furniture. He has also reportedly been offered £6,000 in cash. Simon is believed to owe money to Coutts bank for a Covid bounce-back loan, in addition to debts to HMRC.
