HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla.- The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a youth counselor at A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a minor resident. Katherine Sticklin, 28, was arrested on September 11, 2024, following an investigation by the Special Victims Section. The investigation began after a foster child at the group home reported that Sticklin had initiated inappropriate contact with him on Snapchat, sending explicit images and discussing sexual acts.
