A swimming pool is closed this morning following a break-in overnight. Hythe Swimming Pool in South Road has shut temporarily as officers probe the scene. Folkestone and Hythe District Council explained in a tweet: “This is to allow Kent Police to complete its investigations and for the building to be secured. “It is expected the pool will reopen this afternoon.” KentOnline has contacted the council and police for further details.
