A key route into Bishop’s Stortford that was shut for 12 days last summer for resurfacing is to close all next week for gas and sewer connection works. The A1250 Hadham Road will be shut between Maze Green Road and Bells Hill from Monday (Feb 19) until Friday (Feb 23). The road has been subject to numerous disruptions from work by utility companies over the past few years before it was resurfaced overnight in June.
