A speed camera has been vandalised by a vigilante who has dubbed themselves ‘Batman’. Passers-by have been left confused by the strange sight in Hollywood Lane, Wainscott following the bizarre act of criminal damage. The camera has been fitted with a bat box – an artificial roost for the winged mammals – and sprayed with black paint. The vandal also stuck a ‘Batman has been here’ sticker on it.
