The United Arab Emirates could participate in an international operation in Gaza after the end of the current conflict, Israel’s military broadcasting service said on Wednesday. The state-funded Israeli Army Radio said the UAE would only be prepared to take such a step if the Palestinian Authority were to be recognized as the sole legitimate political force in Gaza. The UAE was the first Gulf state to establish diplomatic relations with Israel in 2020.
