The United Nation children’s Fund (UNICEF) said on Wednesday that the Gaza war has also affected the lives of children in Lebanon and their school year. Dozens of schools in southern Lebanon have been forced to close since October 2023, due to an intensification of hostilities at the Lebanese-Israeli border, affecting more than 6,000 students, a UNICEF report said.
