By Tom Blow Bolton’s home game against Cheltenham on Saturday afternoon has been suspended due to a medical emergency in the crowd. The worrying incident unfolded around 30 minutes into the game. Medics rushed to stricken fan with a defibrillator, as stewards ushered other home supporters away from the scene. Both sets of players return to the dressing room after play was halted. Bolton provided an update on X shortly after the game was suspended. It read: “There’s been a stoppage in-play here due to an apparent medical incident in the crowd.
