Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in Trenton that occurred early Saturday morning, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said. Just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, Trenton police officers responded to the 1400 block of South Clinton Avenue on a report of an unresponsive man down in front of the location, officials said. The victim, who had a gunshot wound, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, the prosecutor’s office said.
