A new crime drama filmed in Kent starring Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner is to hit TV screens. Joan, a six-part series which is based on the true story of notorious jewel thief Joan Hannington, will see the Emmy-nominated 28-year-old in the lead role and will feature scenes shot in Herne Bay last year. Set to air on ITV and ITVX, the broadcaster has confirmed it will reach our screens in September, more than a year after Turner was spotted in the seaside town.
