Governor Hyacinth Alia has forwarded to the Benue State House of Assembly for confirmation, a list of eight persons to serve as chairman and members of the Benue State Independent Electoral Commission, BSIEC. The nominees include Dr John Chen, Chairman, Terhemen Shom, Theodoore Iordye Uchi, Solomon Deva, and Edache Isaac. Others area Mrs Gloria Clement, Peter Ogagbola and Dr Gisaor Vincent, who is to serve as secretary.
