The Los Angeles Dodgers said Saturday they have transferred right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto to the 60-day injured list, making Aug. 15 the earliest he can return to the team. The move came a day after manager Dave Roberts said Yamamoto, who is working his way back from a strained rotator cuff in his pitching shoulder, had resumed playing catch without pain.
