A lorry loaded with some 36,000 litres of petrol has gone up in flames while travelling on a highway in eastern Germany, the fire brigade said early on Friday. The driver was unharmed and the flames were put out before they could spread to the semi-trailer carrying the petrol, according to emergency services. The cause of the fire was initially unclear, a spokesman for the fire brigade said.
