Darjeeling (West Bengal) [India], October 14 (ANI): The Federation of Medical Association (FEMA) has called a two-day pen-down strike in private and government medical colleges and hospitals in Siliguri over issues including the RG Kar rape-murder case. Doctors are protesting against the rape and murder of a woman doctor at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Earlier, Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar urged BJP workers and people of West Bengal to join the doctors’ protest in large numbers.
