The German government has condemned the Iranian drone and missile attack on Israel and called on Tehran to halt the retaliatory attack. “We condemn the ongoing attack, which could plunge an entire region into chaos, in the strongest possible terms,” Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock wrote in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. Iran and its allies must stop the attack “immediately,” she said. “All our solidarity goes out to Israel in these hours,” Baerbock added.
