Panathinaikos are reportedly open to paying George Baldock’s salary in full after the tragic death of the right-back last week. The 31-year-old drowned while swimming at his pool in Greece, with his family since paying tribute to the former Sheffield United and MK Dons star. Baldock joined Panathinaikos back in the summer after a seven-year stint at Bramall Lane. He played four times for the Greek side, with three of those coming in the Greek Super League.
