Former President Donald Trump will be in New York on Thursday to attend a hearing about the criminal hush money charges brought against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, reported Axios on Tuesday. The case, which alleges that Trump criminally falsified his business records to conceal a hush payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels to keep an affair quiet in the runup to the 2016 presidential election, is currently slated to be the first of Trump’s criminal charges to move to trial.
