Police have issued a warning to parents picking their children up from school to not park on single yellow lines. Officers have reminded parents on the school run that parking on a single yellow line during the hours of operation is prohibited and they could face getting a parking ticket. Neighbourhood officers who are regularly patrolling the schools in the area during pickup and drop-off time are finding that a large number of drivers are disregarding the single yellow line.
