A longtime Hoboken employee who showed up at City Hall while out sick with COVID-19 during the early days of the pandemic will not be getting her job back, an appellate court panel ruled Tuesday. Lisa Sanes, a keyboarding clerk in the city’s Department of Administration, had appealed a Civil Service Commission (CSC) decision that upheld her termination on June 29, 2020 for insubordination and conduct unbecoming of a public employee.
