Real images of the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra have already appeared online, showing the dimensions of the device. Now, almost all the key specifications of the Razr 50 Ultra (or Moto Razr+ 2024) are online thanks to OnLeaks. So let’s take a look.

Like its predecessor Moto Razr 40 Ultra, the successor also features a flexible 6.9 2640 x 1080 internal POLED display and a 3.6-inch display on the cover.
Unlike the display, the chipset has been updated from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 to the recently released Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. According to the leak, it is paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. For those who don’t know, the Moto Edge Edge 50 Ultra and the recently released iQOO Z9 Turbo also use this chipset. It is equipped with 1 Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3 GHz, 4 Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz, and 3 energy-efficient Cortex-A520 cores.
Another big update is the rear camera system of this phone. The 12MP and 13MP sensors have been replaced with 50MP ones. The ultra-wide-angle lens has also reportedly been replaced with a 2x telephoto lens. However, the 32-megapixel selfie camera remains the same as before.
The phone also features a slightly larger 4000 mAh battery compared to its predecessor’s 3800 mAh. It will support both wired and wireless charging.
The water-repellent coating has also been replaced with an IPX8 dust and waterproof coating. IPX8 means that the device can be immersed in fresh water to a depth of 1.5 meters. However, it is not dustproof. The phone will also have eSIM support.
This phone will be the company’s first clamshell with Hello UI, a custom shell based on Android 14.
Price and availability
Razr+ 2023 (8GB + 256GB variant) was launched at $999. It looks like the price will remain the same.
Razr+ 2024 will be available in three colors: Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Hot Pink. In the United States, it will be available for $999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version. The phone is expected to go on sale in June.
