Two persons have been reported dead in a petrol tanker accident that occurred at Imope village in Oru Ijebu, along the Ijebu-Ode-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State. The accident which involved a tanker with registration number T 623 LA X, claimed the life of the driver, Salau Semiu, and his assistant, simply identified as Saheed. Confirming the accident, spokesman of that Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola said it occurred around 9:30 am on Saturday, when the driver of the tanker lost control of the vehicle.
