German avant-electro pop artist Elfyn (aka Theresa Elflein), a music graduate of Anglia Ruskin University (ARU, is to perform at The Blue Moon pub in Cambridge this Sunday (17 March). Elfyn’s music has been described as “sometimes euphoric, sometimes aggressive, sometimes even meditative”, and her sound is reminiscent of artists such as Björk or Fever Ray. Joining her will be Ward of Iron, a three-piece band from Ipswich, who bring together elements of post-punk, shoegaze and darkwave music. Tickets are pay what you can – suggested donation £5-7.
