Newcastle United will play Urawa Reds and Yokohama F Marinos in club international friendly matches over the summer in Japan, the J-League said Tuesday. The English Premier League side face Urawa on July 31 at Saitama Stadium before taking on Marinos on Aug. 3 at Tokyo’s National Stadium. On Monday, reigning J1 champions Vissel Kobe announced they will host French Ligue 1 side Reims, home to Japan wingers Junya Ito and Keito Nakamura, in a friendly also scheduled for Aug. 3 at their Noevir Stadium.
