Police investigating the distraction theft of a mobile phone from a beauty salon in Bishop’s Stortford are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man they want to speak to. The incident happened at a salon in Newtown Road on Monday June 3 at around 10.10am. A man went in and said he wanted to make an appointment for his wife. While doing so, he put a piece of paper over a phone on the counter, picked it up and left.
