A newsagent and sub-post office on a Bishop’s Stortford estate will be closed for a few weeks while it’s being converted into a convenience store. Martin’s at 3 Snowley Parade, Manston Drive, on the Parsonage estate, is being turned into a Morrisons Daily after the giant supermarket chain rescued parent company McColl’s from administration in May 2022 and secured 16,000 jobs. A spokesperson for Morrisons said it was hoped the store would reopen as a Morrisons Daily later in the month.
