In his weekly The Bar Man column, Jeff Houle discusses two very different football matches… The last game I went to was Barra v Ness, a Highland Amateur Cup game played at a neutral venue on the island of Benbecula. I imagine that this was a logistical decision, with each team having to take one ferry ride, rather than the impossible task of the away team having to take two ferry rides each way to fulfil the fixture.
