New Jersey has a wealth of very high scoring schools when it comes to the SATs, but some high schools have much higher average scores on the college entrance exam than others. Millburn High School in Essex County had the highest average SAT score of all general admissions public high schools in the state for the 2022-23 school year, according to data released by the state Department of Education as part of this year’s School Performance Report.
