In a bid to help emergency services respond to incidents more quickly, Thames Valley Police is urging people to download a location app to their mobile phones. What 3 Words has divided the world into chunks, each three metres square. From the app, users can pinpoint their location, which then brings up three unique words – for example, the Newbury Weekly News’ Faraday Road offices are listed as ///advice.trying.erase.
