A town centre restaurant has reopened following a £55,000 makeover. New bosses behind Gurkha Bhansa Ghar in Ashford say the “adventure” has only just begun after completing the month-long revamp. The renovation project included removing a wall inside the Apsley Street restaurant in order to make the dining space open plan. Gurkha Bhansa Ghar originally opened back in November 2015, but was taken over by new co-owners and partners Ganesh Chandra Rai and Ritu Jadegu Limbu last month.
