Tokyo stocks opened higher Wednesday, boosted by technology shares that tracked overnight advances by their U.S. counterparts. In the first 15 minutes of trading, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 410.21 points, or 1.07 percent, from Tuesday to 38,766.27.
