Foreign companies are investing less in Germany than they have for several years, a study published on Thursday by the German Economic Institute (IW) suggests. The IW has a close relationship with Germany’s employers. Its study found that the amount of direct investment from abroad in 2023 was around €22 billion, which was less than ten years ago.
