A Navy surgeon carried out an operation on a 12-year-old’s penis “without permission” from his parents during a hernia surgery. Commander Anthony Lambert – who was working at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth – reportedly told the boy’s parents that he had operated without consulting them because he was “a bit of a nosey t***” and thought it “didn’t look normal”.
