Two women are the first same-sex couple to bring home the bacon at Dunmow Flitch Trials. Emma Hynds and Emma D’Costa, from the Uttlesford town, convinced a judge and a jury of six maidens and six bachelors, that “in twelvemonth and a day; they have not wisht themselves unmarried again”.
