Conservatives on East Herts Council (EHC) fear the new Labour Government will “ride roughshod” over local authorities as it rolls out “Grey Belt” development. The leader of the Tory group, Cllr Bob Deering, voiced his fears as EHC’s Green and Liberal Democrat administration launched a new “call for sites” for homes, employment, community facilities and conservation.
