Sam Roach has announced his departure from Histon with immediate effect. The long-serving goalkeeper made 260 appearances for the Stutes and he was between the posts for yesterday’s 2-0 home victory over Newport Pagnell Town in the GCS Hire Fleet United Counties Football League Premier Division South. However, less than 24 hours on from that win at Bridge Road, Roach has confirmed that it was his last outing for the club.
