Karnal (Haryana) [India], July 15 (ANI): The first monsoon showers arrived in the rural area of Karnal on Monday, providing relief from the heat. The rain is also beneficial to the farmers, proving to be a boon for the crops planted this season. Farmers have planted paddy and sorghum, the latter of which acts as both fertiliser and animal feed. The heavy rains will help the crops grow better.
