The death toll from an attack by the Islamist terrorist militia al-Shabaab on a hotel near the presidential palace in the Somali capital Mogadishu has risen to 13. Security forces brought the situation under control after 13 hours on Friday morning. According to the police, five terrorists were among the dead and more than 30 people were injured, including four members of parliament. A suicide bomber drove a car loaded with explosives in front of the building the previous evening.
