A water main has burst along a main road. Motorists will not be able to travel through Farleigh Lane in Maidstone while emergency repairs are carried out. The long stretch of road has been shut in the middle, at the junction with Glebe Lane. Drivers can only access the street to this point via Farleigh Bridge, or Tonbridge Road. Works are being carried out by South East Water and will be in place until tomorrow (August 15).
