Traffic is queuing on the A28 as roadworks set to last 11 days have started, causing a headache for motorists coming in and out of Ashford. Engineers from UK Power Networks have closed the stretch of A2042 Canterbury Road between Magazine Road and Simone Weil Avenue while new electrical connections are carried out.
