Troops from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have entered the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari has announced, describing the move as a “precise and limited operation.” A spokesman for the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Authority confirmed the raid and said that IDF troops had destroyed a wall as they stormed the hospital.
