An air ambulance has been called to a serious crash that has closed a road in both directions. Lenham Road in Headcorn has been shut off by emergency crews following the two-vehicle accident between Baker Lane and Forge Lane at 2.20pm. Onlookers say the police and paramedics are at the scene, while an air ambulance helicopter has been pictured circling above. A police spokesperson says a woman has sustained injuries, but could not comment on the severity of them.
