A girl has been arrested following an alleged assault at a secondary school. Police officers were on a routine visit to The Victory Academy, in Chatham, at around 11am yesterday (March 14) when the incident happened. A spokeswoman for the force said they were made aware a teenage boy had sustained a cut to his head, believed to be caused by a wooden block. Officers responded and a girl was arrested on suspicion of assault. She has since been bailed until June 12 while inquiries into the circumstances continue.
