A former public toilets and cafe will be sold under plans which will see the building come back into use. Newark Town Council, who own the former London Road public toilets building, have submitted an application for a change to Class E use and to make internal alterations. The council closed the toilets — which are next to the London Road Carpark — during the pandemic, citing their under-use, cost of maintenance and close proximity to other facilities throughout the town centre.
