Today, Sony introduced two new Xperia phones. These are Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 10 VI. The first is a flagship offering, and the second is a mid-range device. The Xperia 10 VI is the successor to last year’s Xperia 10 V. The brand has made minor changes to the latest offering. Read on to find out more.

Sony Xperia 10 VI continues the tradition of top and bottom bezels on a tall screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It features a 6.1-inch Triluminious OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The smartphone is certified to the IP68 dust and water protection standard. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side and is built into the power button.

The Sony Xperia 10 VI has a minimalist look with a raised pill-shaped platform in the upper left corner of the back panel, where the two camera sensors and LED flash are located. The camera includes a 48-megapixel main sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Sony has abandoned the telephoto lens that its predecessor had. Instead, there is a front-facing 8-megapixel camera for selfies.

In terms of sound, Sony Xperia 10 VI is equipped with front-facing stereo speakers with support for 360 Reality Audio Certified, DSEE Ultimate, stereo recording and adaptive aptX.

The Sony Xperia 10 VI is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. In terms of software, it comes with Android 14 with guaranteed OS updates for three years and four years of security patches.

Sony Xperia 10 VI is available in black, white and blue colors. It is priced at 399 euros and 349 pounds sterling in the European and UK markets, respectively. The phone is available for pre-orders and sales will begin in mid-June.
