A prolific criminal who went on a burglary spree in Cambridge has been jailed after leaving a trail of evidence behind him. Terry Lewis was captured on CCTV smashing the front door of a charity shop in Newmarket Road on 18 September last year. The 47-year-old then crawled through the door and attempted to break open the tills before leaving with cash from a donation box. Three days later, Lewis used a rock to smash his way into offices in Orwell Furlong stealing some cash but leaving behind his house keys and two lighters.
