Tram drivers from across Europe participated in the European Tram Driver Championships in the German city of Frankfurt on Saturday. Some 26 teams from 21 countries took part in the 11th edition of the event, which was first held in Dresden in 2012. The competition is being staged near the Frankfurt opera house, with performances taking place during breaks. Drivers competed in six disciplines to test their braking and manoeuvring skills.
