The Czech Constitutional Court has thrown out a case brought by a man who saw his right to information violated by government moves to block websites spreading misinformation on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The court sitting in Brno published its ruling on its website on Monday. Shortly after the February 2022 invasion, the Czech government recommended to internet providers that websites that “disseminate untrue and misleading information” on the invasion should be blocked.
