A pro-Palestinian encampment was launched at a South African university on Monday as the student movement against Israel’s war on Gaza continued to spread around the world. The camp and “liberated zone” is located in Johannesburg on the lawns outside the Great Hall of the University of the Witwatersrand, also known as Wits.
