Tokyo stocks opened higher Thursday, tracking overnight advances on Wall Street, although advances were limited as investors locked in gains after three consecutive days of positive closes on the Nikkei. In the first 15 minutes of trading, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 74.00 points, or 0.20 percent, from Wednesday to 36,516.43.
